About the role
Our aim is to be a high performing regulator which delivers forward-looking regulation underpinned by strong data, collaboration and compassion. The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate management of financial transactions, including invoicing, credit control and supporting registrants with their financial queries.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the accurate generation of sales invoices using Business Central.
- Handle credit control, run aged debtor reports, and act on overdue payments.
- Process Direct Debit mandates, amendments, and rejected payments.
- Resolve complex registrant queries related to financial transactions, via phone, email, or letter.
- Reconcile data between Business Central and the CRM system, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Prepare and process refunds for applicants and registrants.
About you
- Experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and CRM systems is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Direct Debit processing and credit control practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, at all levels of the organisation.
- A positive, proactive and curious mind-set with the experience to apply critical analysis and judgement when faced with challenges; ensuring these solutions are customer focused and balance the wider needs of the organisation.
