Job description
Through the regulation of 15 different health and care professions, we protect the public from harm. We maintain a Register of over 350,000 professionals who meet our Standards and work across the health and care sector in the UK. We assure the quality of their education and we will investigate concerns about their fitness to practise.
The role holder will use their established skills and expertise to generate analyses and information products based on qualitative and quantitative data. Key areas of interest are the identification of risks and trends that help inform the delivery of the Professionalism and Prevention Strategy along with the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Insight and Analytics in developing the department and adopting R as the default analysis software.
- Support the delivery of the department's workplan, focusing on improving efficiency.
- Mentor colleagues in using R.
- Lead the development and delivery of complex analytical products.
- Assist with data quality projects to maintain data integrity.
- Capture requirements and develop workplans for internal research requests, and identify research opportunities.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support HCPC’s strategic priorities.
- Develop and maintain public-facing PowerBI dashboards for the HCPC data hub.
