We celebrate diversity in all its forms. Our inclusive culture ensures that every voice is heard and every perspective is valued. We believe that diverse teams drive innovation and excellence.
The HCPC is committed to attracting, developing, and motivating talented people from diverse backgrounds at every level. As part of this commitment, we recognise the importance of an inclusive workplace that ensures that all employees are supported to reach their full potential. We are proud that the HCPC is a diverse and inclusive place to work and mindful of the vital importance of diversity to our success. Some of our EDI commitments are highlighted through various streams of programmes such as our:
Beyond Barriers Programme
To develop and support employees in their pursuit to meet their professional and career goals, with the help of an experienced and knowledgeable senior leader who will guide, motivate and facilitate their learning and growth.
Reverse Mentoring programmes
To give our employees an opportunity to take up the role of reverse mentors and develop leadership skills and impart wisdom upwards to senior leaders of HCPC. It is a formal relationship for the purpose of skill sharing and professional development.
HCPC Communities
We utilise the Communities function on Microsoft Teams to allow employees to engage and connect in this hybrid working world. That means our Virtual Water Cooler group can still ask the burning questions of ‘if you were stranded on a deserted island…’ and employees can share their top parenting tips on the Parent Club group. We are also committed to celebrating our People and Culture – this means dedicated events to raise awareness on Health and Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion issues.
Working Groups
There are opportunities to join any of the HCPC working groups such as The Employee Forum or become an EDI Representative.
