Last month, we proudly hosted our first-ever Careers Fair at the iconic Kia Oval. With over 2,600 enthusiastic candidates attending, the event buzzed with excitement as job seekers and professionals came together, creating a fantastic atmosphere of opportunity and connection.

For us at the HCPC, it wasn’t just about the numbers—it was about meeting the incredible individuals behind the names we often see in emails or applications.

Spotlight on opportunities

The Careers Fair allowed us to shine a light on some of the exciting roles we regularly advertise, including positions in Registration and Fitness to Practise. It was also a great opportunity to connect with those training for our regulated professions and share more about who we are and what we do. The energy and enthusiasm of the attendees made these conversations truly rewarding.

We encouraged candidates to sign up for our Talent Network, which is a dynamic pool of talent waiting to be part of our growing team.

Our success wouldn’t have been such a success without the incredible support from HCPC colleagues in a variety of different departments. Their dedication and enthusiasm drove us forward and we're immensely grateful for their help on the day.

What's next

We’re committed to hosting more careers fairs in the future. This event gave us the chance to bridge the gap between our organisation and the talented professionals eager to join us, in our purpose of helping to protect the public and support health and care professionals to deliver high quality care.
