Recognising the importance of work-life balance, we offer flexible work arrangements to help you manage your professional and personal commitments effectively.
35-hour working week
Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with an hour for lunch. We recognise that this doesn’t suit everyone, so please read on to understand how the HCPC supports hybrid and flexible working.
Hybrid working
We recognise that people want to strike the right balance with work and life outside of work. We are in support of hybrid working to allow our employees to achieve a positive work life balance – this means where possible, employees can spend some time working from the HCPC Offices in Kennington, and some time working from home. The expectation is that you would spend 20-40% of your week in the office; however, all roles are different so if you have any specific questions about how this might work for you, please email recruitment@hcpc-uk.org. To further support this, all HCPC employees are issued with a laptop to allow the flexibility of home and office working.
Refurbished offices
We are committed to providing an excellent range of workspace as part of our Hybrid working approach. The office has areas for meetings of different sizes and types, as well as break out areas, furnished for comfortable gatherings and meetings. Exciting new spaces are being commissioned for use in both desk-based offices and collaboration and innovation areas. If you need to work from the office simply book a desk in one of the available offices. Also, feel free to utilise the day lockers to securely store your personal items.
Flexible working
To support our hybrid working culture, we allow employees and potential HCPC employees the day one right to request flexible working. That can mean part time working, compressed hours, job share etc.
Annual leave
Employees are entitled to a generous 30 days annual leave (pro-rated for part time workers) paid bank and public holidays and discretionary Christmas closure days.
