I began my journey at the HCPC in 2009 as a Registration Advisor, and I can honestly say that joining this organisation is a decision I have never regretted. The HCPC provide numerous opportunities to allow you to progress in your career and move around departments to expand your experience and skills.
Throughout my time at the HCPC, I have worked in Registration, Fitness to Practise, Compliance and Business Change, which has bought me to my current role as a Programme Manager. As a Programme Manager, I have oversight of the organisational projects and work closely with our Executive team to define and prioritise any investments needed each year.
Although the organisation has changed over the years, the focus to improve our services and protect the public remain our top priority and we seek to continue this progression year on year. Being part of something that is so vital to all, is something I am proud of and hope to continue to grow in my role in the years to come.
To conclude, I must say that there is never a dull day in Regulation.
